DriveSafety’s clinical driving simulators provide therapists with powerful tools to assess and rehabilitate patient’s functional abilities. Veteran and active military medical centers, private hospitals and clinics use DriveSafety simulators to enhance the cognitive, sensory and physical functioning of a broad range of patients. DriveSafety has put their simulators through rigorous usability studies with both patients and practitioners. The company’s simulation-based tools improve patient outcomes not only in the specialized area of driving rehabilitation, but also in the general therapeutic care of patients who have suffered functional losses that impact their independence and mobility.
SimClinic® software from DriveSafety delivers dozens of clinician-inspired driving scenarios and interactive exercises for patients. From identifying functional deficits to rehabilitating specific skills, SimClinic helps you get maximum utility out of your simulator in the areas of physical functioning, cognition and vision. With SimClinic general therapy and driving rehabilitation content, clinics can provide a tailored experience with objective performance measures to treat specific patient needs. And the wireless touch screen, tablet-based operator interface makes it easy for therapists to manage the simulator experience and monitor patient behavior in real time. New content is continuously being developed for SimClinic as DriveSafety and its partners work with customers to address the needs of their practices.
