As COO, Steven Hallmark is responsible for manufacturing. production, accounting. purchasing, and human resources at DriveSafety. With 31 years of experience in the simulation industry, Steve has developed significant expertise in program management, cost management, process control, support and implementation.
Prior to his work at DriveSafety, Steven served as VP of Operations at GlobalSim until the driving simulation business was spun off to become DriveSafety. Before that, he worked for 17 years at Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation, first as a software engineer developing visual databases for flight simulation, and later writing and supporting graphical editing software tools used in visual database development. He then managed an engineering team of 25 engineers servicing multiple commercial and military contracts. His next career step was into program management in new business development for Army Ground and Aviation and then full program management for contracts won. His final position at Evans & Sutherland was Director of Army Ground Systems Marketing worldwide and managed a small team of marketing managers and consultants.
Steven holds a BS degree in Design Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University.
