Driving Simulators

DriveSafety offer two classes of driving simulators: research driving simulators (DS) and clinical driving simulators (CDS).

DS research driving simulators include the DS-600, DS-250 and DS-100. The DS units run Vection, the real-time simulation software, HyperDrive, for scanario develpment and data collection, and DashBoard as an operations console. Research driving simulators allow the subject-matter expert to create custom driving scenarios and to collect specific data.

The CDS clinical driving simulator (CDS-250) is configured with a triple ~20" driver display. Also provided are suites of pre-configured virtual drives for driver practice, rehabilitation and training (CDS Scenarios), and a management console. Its main focus today is on patient rehabilitation.
