Tim Lovely’s body was found on the ground, after his car crashed near his home in Indiana. The 23-year-old was driving home from work at 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 9. 2008, when he lost control of his vehicle.

“He was going around a curve ... and he slid into a steel pole,” said Tim’s mother Laura Hefner, of Medaryville, Ind.

He had no outwardly obvious injuries, but he hit the left side of his head and was unconscious. He was airlifted to an area hospital and admitted into the intensive care unit.

He remained in a coma for over a month.

He now lives in Rainbow’s NeuroRehab Campus in Farmington Hills, MI, where he’s made great progress, said his family.

“It’s incredible,” said Laura Hefner. “It’s been 10 months since the accident. He’s gotten so much better.”
